In 2004 Alliance became a limited company and has gone from strength to strength to offer mental health support both to our local communities and increasingly expanding our reach beyond Teesside. Our current services are offered across primary care, our private and commercial offers and our children, young people and families’ service. We have served our local community for over 20 years and want to continue to build on this to ensure we can provide support for as many people as we can.

NHS Talking Therapies ….find out more
After delivering primary care psychological therapies on Teesside for many years, Alliance formed a partnership with Teesside Mind in 2020 to deliver the NHS Talking Therapies service ‘Impact on Teesside’. Impact on Teesside also provides a well-being service for people whose needs, are less complex than those needing to access NHS Talking Therapies. In addition, we offer a Foundation and Recovery service which offers practical support to people who need a more holistic approach. Impact facilitates Employment Advisors by offering tailored support to help clients enter employment or remain in work.
In the past year, Impact received 17,449 referrals and across its 3 separate pathways a total of 73,260 individual and group sessions were delivered. The Talking Therapies pathway exceeded the national target for recovery rates with a yearly average of 51.8%, whilst the Foundation and Recovery Service reported 93% of clients making improvements when measured on the Recovery Star at the start and end of treatment. Impact’s Employment Advisors began in October 2023, in the first 6 months 210 clients were discharged, of those; 45 gained employment, 70 were supported to retain current employment and 77% of all those discharged from the pathway reported Employment Advisor involvement impacted positively upon their mental health.
