Children, Young People and Families
We developed our children, young people and families’ services with a vision to ensure that all children, young people and families are empowered to thrive by building on their strengths and developing their resilience.
We currently deliver a diverse range of psychologically informed services; this includes leading on Mental Health Teams in Schools and Getting Help provision across Hartlepool and Stockton. In addition, we also offer a therapeutic service as part of Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys Neuro development pathway. We are very excited to share that additional funding for this vital service has been secured to extend our offer in Darlington.
In the last 12 months we have supported over 1500 children and young people through targeted interventions, nearly 2000 through non targeted psycho-educational methods and over 14000 through our whole school approach. Whilst we are very proud of this, we also know that there are still many children, young people and families in need of support and over the next 3 years we will continue to expand and increase our ability to provide this.
