This training equips organisations with practical strategies for managing low mood and depression in the workplace. Recognising the significant impact that low mood and depression has on productivity and overall well-being, this course provides an in-depth understanding of depression, its signs and effective management techniques. What you can expect from this training: 

  • Understanding Depression: Gain a clear understanding of what depression is and its impact on individuals. Increase awareness of low mood and depression among employees and management. 
  • Identify: Recognise the signs and symptoms of depression in oneself and others. 
  • Activity & Depression: Recognise the interconnectedness of thoughts, feelings and behaviours and understand the importance of starting activities slowly and setting small, achievable goals to improve depression.
  • Equip: Identify unhelpful thinking styles and learn techniques to challenge and change negative thoughts and effectively solve-problems.
  • Enhance and Sustain Communication: Improve communication skills to address depression-related issues constructively and empathetically. Encourage a long-term culture of mental health awareness and proactive management within the organisation.
  • Support: Provide effective support strategies and resources for employees experiencing low mood and depression.
