Overview:
Suicide Awareness Training is designed to educate businesses and their employees on recognising and responding to signs of suicidal ideation and distress. This training aims to increase confidence in handling difficult conversations and to assist a supportive and proactive workplace environment that prioritises mental health and well-being.
What you can expect from this training:
- Increased Awareness: Enhanced understanding of the prevalence and impact of suicide, particularly in the workplace context.
- Recognise Warning Signs: Equip employees and managers with the skills to identify risk levels and red flags of behaviour and communication.
- Provide Support: Teach effective communication strategies and appropriate responses to support colleagues who may be at risk.
- Promote Resources: Highlight available mental health resources and support services within the Tees Valley and how to access them.
